Dough
3/8 cup milk = 1/4 cup + 2 Tbs = 100 ml
3/8 cup water
1 egg
3 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp salt
4 Tbs butter
1/3 cup sugar
1 ½ tsp active dry yeast
Topping
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 cup heavy cream
- Place all ingredience in bread pan, select dough, press start. When the machine beeps, turn it off, remove bread pan and turn out dough onto floured surface.
- Grease a 9x13x2-inch pan. With a rolling pin, roll dough into a 9x13-inch rectangle. Place dough in prepared pan. Usually, the dough isn’t sticky and this could be done by hand – just put the dough in the pan and flatten it so it covers the whole area.
- Cover and let rise for 30-45 min until doubled.
- With two fingers, punch deep holes all over the dough.
- In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle mixture over dough. Drizzle cream evenly on top.
- Bake in a preheated oven 180 °C (350 °F) for 25 to 35 min until the dough is thoroughly baked.
- Remove from oven and serve warm. Freezes OK.
